Julia + Andrew: A Winter Session at Willamette Mission State Park

You only do your engagement session once, so let’s make the most of it! That was the theme of Julia and Andrew’s engagement session at Willamette Mission State Park. Julia was telling me how they read through my style guide and blogs beforehand and took a ton of advice from there. Boy did it pay off! I love helping my clients prep for their engagement sessions so they can get the most out of this incredibly special occasion.

Julia and Andrew came so prepared and they just knocked it out of the park! Three outfits, all gorgeous, they dressed to the nines. I absolutely loved the soft pink dress she brought. Though it was pretty cold out, we didn’t let that stop us. It is winter in Oregon after all. But like we said, you only do your engagement session once. This park offered so many beautiful backgrounds all within a short walk from each other. These two rocked this cold wintery scene!

I love using this time to get to know my couples and see how they interact together. This helps sooooo much for the wedding day! We had SO MUCH FUN together. Julia and Andrew are a dream to work with! I’m completely obsessed and felt like I walked away with two new friends. I was so drawn in by Julia’s beautiful smile. They loved to laugh and play around together and it’s enough to melt you. You can truly feel how much they love each other. The way she looks at him with her smile that reaches into her eyes. The way he makes her laugh. My heart melted!

I can’t wait for their wedding day this year at Langdon Farms! It’s one of my favorite venues and I know they are just going to jump right off their images with all their gorgeousness! So many blessings to you two while you plan your special day. Don’t forget to take time for each other and ENJOY this season.
