Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

This maternity session at Smith Rock was an absolute DREAM! One of my favorite locations with one of my favorite couples celebrating their new soon-to-be arrival! The snow added an additional touch of magic to the whole thing. I was so blessed to have captured Rio and Jon’s wedding back in 2018. They are some […]

Senior portrait sessions are usually associated with sunny days and perfect weather. But every now and then, Mother Nature has other plans! Despite the dreary weather and cold, this senior session at the Jordan Bridge in Stayton turned out to be so FUN! Aside from just fun it also was incredibly gorgeous, thanks to the […]

In the heart of nature’s embrace, where the sun dances through the trees and the breeze whispers secrets, a senior session unfolded at Graham Oaks Nature Park. Halona is such a stunner! I may be a little bit biased, simply because she’s my cousin’s daughter. But honestly you can’t look at her and tell me […]

In the heart of the picturesque Champoeg Park, love and laughter echoed through the rustling leaves and along the winding paths. This photo session with these two sweet people contained a joy that was contagious. Their sweet dog, Boone, also added an extra layer of fun! Champoeg State Park, nestled along the banks of the […]

Autumn painted this beautiful landscape as families gathered at Willamette Mission State Park for our fall family mini sessions! So many families returned from last year’s fall minis and we had SO much fun! One of my favorite things is being able to watch all of these families grow. Held at this picturesque location these […]

When it comes to capturing precious family moments, a family session can become a cherished experience. Recently, I had the privilege of documenting the love and joy of a long time friend’s family at Willamette Mission State Park. Ashley and I go all the way back to kindergarten when we first met! We went all […]

Nestled between towering cliffs and majestic landscapes, the Columbia River Gorge offers a breathtaking backdrop for any session. I had the pleasure of capturing the beauty of this stunning family along the scenic shores of the Columbia River. They live out of state but visit family here in Oregon. This was the second session I […]
