On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!
When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

Your Wedding Day
Your wedding day is one of the happiest and most joyous days in your life thus far. There is so much planning, prepping, and details that go into a wedding day. And after the day is all said and done, you will walk away with your new spouse and your photos. That’s it! As time goes on, memories and all those details will fade, but the photos you have will live on for decades after. There is no re-doing the day.
You can’t have that first kiss again or reenact that loving face the groom makes as he sees his bride walking toward him for the very first time. You want someone there who knows how to capture each and every precious moment and every detail you’ve worked so hard to put together.

I believe it is so important to be able to meet and get to know each other before the wedding day and get you comfortable with me behind the camera. This helps to make the wedding day flow so much smoother and it’s like having a friend there with you instead of a hired stranger.
After all, we do spend quite a bit of time together on your wedding day and I want you to be able to truly be yourself!

I believe that wedding photography shouldn't just be beautiful photos, but an incredible EXPERIENCE! Part of that experience includes getting to know my couples. I look for fun, outgoing couples who aren't afraid to be themselves, love to laugh and crack jokes, and enjoy life!
After getting to know you and a little bit about your wedding day online, I love to schedule a meet up to see if we are a perfect fit for your wedding day! After all, we'll spend about 90% of that day together and you deserve someone you feel completely comfortable with! Then we move on to the booking process!...
Yay!! We found that we are a perfect fit and you are ready to become a Joni Loraine bride and groom! The next step is to make sure your date is secure and saved just for you!
I'll send you a custom online booking proposal where you can review your collection package and pay your retainer right online to make everything official. Now that you're part of the Joni Loraine bride tribe, it's time to get started!
SAVE THE DATE
It's time to let the fun begin!! Once you're all booked, we'll schedule your engagement session! Don't worry if you think you might be awkward in front of the camera. I'll lead the way and walk you through it. I'll teach you EVERYTHING!
I thrive at helping my couples relax and feel comfortable so they can let go and just be themselves. After the first 15 minutes, you'll be pros! That's all the time you'll need to get rid of the nerves and start to have fun, even if you think you aren't photogenic or if your fiance "hates having photos taken". You'll begin to feel like yourselves and we'll capture the joy of this magical time in your lives! After the engagement session you'll have your images sent to you in a private online gallery that you can use and share however you wish.
ENGAGEMENTS
Once we are 6-8 weeks out from your big day we will make sure that we are completely prepared and ready for your wedding! I love to meet with my couples to create a custom timeline to ensure we don't miss any of those special photos you've been dreaming of!
You know all of those dreamy portraits, fun shots like popping a champagne bottle with your girls while in your cute matching robes, and the detail shots of all the special elements of your day?? I work with my couples to plan their day so they have images like that of their OWN! After photographing weddings with several very different timelines, I know how to create the perfect custom timeline for a photographer-friendly wedding day!
TIMELINE TALK
It's your wedding day!! It's finally here! Now it's time to relax, have fun, and let me get to work! I believe in telling the full story of a wedding day you spent so much time planning. Because of this reason, I always recommend at least 8 hours. For most couples, the day goes by in a blur so I make it a priority to capture all the traditional shots that every bride needs while also capturing the sweet moments in between in a unique and creative way.
After the wedding you'll be getting a sneak peek within 24-48 hours while you're still on cloud nine from the big day! Then once your whole gallery is finished it will be sent to you in a new private online gallery that you can share with friends and family!
YOUR WEDDING DAY!
After your wedding day is all said and done, you'll receive HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of images in your own private online gallery that will be emailed to you. I recommend for my couples to sit down together to relieve their wedding day memories together through their images when they receive their gallery.
Soon after your gallery is delivered you'll begin to select the images you'd like for your album (if you ordered an album). Once you've selected those let me know and I will begin to put your album together! You'll receive proofs of the pages before ordering so you can make changes and customize if you'd like!

One way I ensure my brides and grooms enjoy the BEST possible photographic experience is through forming a relationship with my couples. I try my best to make sure that all my couples are the PERFECT fit for me before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer, and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know them through engagement sessions that helps them warm up to the camera so they are ready to rock and roll on their wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography!
MY PROCESS
I am more than willing to travel for weddings and engagement sessions! I love when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I am available for travel anywhere in the United States and overseas. Up to one hour of travel one way is already included each for weddings and engagement sessions. Anything beyond that will be quoted depending on the location and travel accommodations needed.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
The wedding experience is offered in a variety of collections, most of which include a complimentary engagement session, up to 7-9 hours of wedding day coverage, a timeline assistance meeting where I will help create a seamless timeline with plenty of cushion to accommodate for unexpected occurrences, all high-res edited digital images, and an online viewing/download gallery. There are also beautiful linen albums and fine art books included in some so that you can have a tangible way to cherish your images for years to come!
