Julia and Tommy love the gorgeous Oregon scenery. I, mean really, who doesn’t?! Their engagement story started at Cannon Beach because the Oregon coast had always been a special place to them. They were long distance for two years while Julia was in California for graduate school. A couple months after she moved back Tommy planned a trip for the two of them to go to Cannon Beach where he proposed right in front of Haystack Rock! There is nothing more romantic! So, of course, it was only fitting that we have their engagement session somewhere just as epic. What’s more epic than the Columbia River Gorge?!

This location has become such a favorite for not only me, but a lot of my sweet couples! We’ve made some great memories here and I don’t think I will ever tire of this gorgeous view. We had so much fun on this cloudy September evening. Julia mentioned she followed along with so many tips from my engagement session style guide, too! I absolutely loved that and it really made a difference in their final images! They dressed to impress, she got her engagement ring cleaned and she had her trial hair and makeup done beforehand. I will always swoon over these images from the Columbia River Gorge.

I can’t wait for their beautiful wedding day next September at the gorgeous Langdon Farms Golf Club! Which fits them so well as they love golf! I love it when my couples really make include their personalities into their day. It makes it so personal and unique!
