What is more special than two sisters getting to plan their weddings together? If you’ve been following along in my blog you might have seen an engagement session for Kellie and Craig at Cannon Beach. This beautiful bride-to-be at Champoeg Park, Katie, and Kellie are sisters! Katie and James decided to hire me for their wedding after all the amazing things Kellie told her about me. I absolutely love working with families and how sweet they get to do this together? Their weddings will be separate times of the year but they have a plan to share their veil! How special is that?!

Katie and James had some interesting weather during their engagement session at Champoeg Park. It started out cloudy but then the sun decided to shine for us. Just when we decided to move from one spot to another location within the park, the rain started and quickly turned into hail! We tucked under the covered area of the restroom building for a few minutes to wait it out. I utilized that time to capture some beautiful shots of her engagement ring underneath the trees which was a little drier. Pretty soon the rain and hail ceased and we were able to finish our whole session out with the sun shining again! These two were not only adorable but so easy going when the weather took a turn. They were very go-with-the-flow and we had a blast!

I can’t wait to see both of these sisters again soon! Katie and James will be celebrating their love with a Spring wedding next year, while Kellie and Craig will be having a late summer wedding. Katie and James completely rocked their session at Champoeg Park. I know she is going to make a stunning bride!
