The pinks, the warmth, the touch of fall everywhere made this session MAGICAL! Anthony and Janet had such a romantic fall engagement session starting at Pittock Mansion and ending at Powell Butte Nature Park. Pittock Mansion is an incredible location with so much color! It’s a stunning place no matter what time of year it is. There are always different plants and flowers in bloom. It was the perfect setting to start out this fall session.

Anthony and Janet’s outfits fit so perfectly with this location, keeping the focus on them but coordinating well with all the surrounding colors. And that RING! WOW! I simply love a great ring shot. Most of the time my couples love bringing a second outfit. I recommend to start with a dressier one and then end with a more casual one. While they are changing I utilize this time to capture some stunning images of that gorgeous engagement ring! It’s always a great tip to make sure to have it cleaned before the session so it’s super sparkly!

We then finished this session at a new location they found that I hadn’t shot at yet. Powell Butte Nature Park has a little bit of a hike to get to the view but it was mostly flat and super easy to walk. It has such a stunning view of Portland and all of the surrounding mountains! We made it just in time for that gorgeous sunset light! We had such a blast together! I will definitely be recommending Powell Butte Nature Park to my future clients as I just couldn’t get enough of the view and that killer sunset! Anthony and Janet completely rocked their session! I can’t wait for their fall wedding next year!
