Connor + Anthony: An October Wedding at Abbey Road Farm

This had to be one of the most beautiful October days in Oregon I’ve ever seen! It didn’t seem like fall had settled in yet and hints of summer still lingered in the air. Abbey Road Farm is one of the most luxurious venues in this area and provided a stunning backdrop for Connor and Anthony’s special day! I love coming out to Abbey Road Farm! It’s like stepping right into wine country with gorgeous views of rolling green hills as far as the eye can see. It was so befitting of Connor and Anthony, who popped the question at a winery!

Every Perfect Moment

When I think back over all of the reasons why I love my job so much, these two were such an incredible example! It’s when I get to work with couples like them who are SO much fun and down to earth that fills my soul! I love how much they trusted me with their entire day and to guide them through everything. These two are definitely the kind of clients that become friends for life! All of their friends and family were a blast to get to know and hang out with too!

This day was perfect from start to finish! From the GORGEOUS florals that Connor’s aunt put together herself – yes these are all DIY! To the every single emotional moment – and there were many. One thing that comes with getting to know my clients well is that I am almost guaranteed to tear up with them in those special moments. It was so precious to watch Connor’s grandmother place her own pearl necklace on Connor as she was getting ready. How special to wear your grandmother’s necklace on your wedding day?! Or to watch Anthony’s tearful reaction as Connor walked toward him during their first look.

The Special Touches

A truly special touch to their reception was the genius idea to hire 1927 S’mores Company! I’ve had the privilege of trying them before and this is delicious on a whole other level. These aren’t any regular s’mores. These are bougie and elevated and fabulous! Several different flavors are offered and they are all amazing! I loved how Connor and Anthony’s dog and cat even made an appearance on his cuff links! Their special saying to each other “bunches and bunches” was engraved inside his ring. The mademade matching sweaters that reflected their venue were adorable!! I loved every single special touch of this incredible day and I honestly didn’t want it to end! I can’t tell you how much I love these two and wish them a long and happy life together!
