Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

A Summer Wedding Dream at Langdon Farms

September 25, 2023

I love that each and every wedding at this gorgeous venue is so different! Langdon Farms sits nestled in Aurora, Oregon and the landscape and views are simply stunning! It was the perfect backdrop for Julia and Andrew to tie the knot in front of all of their friends and family. This beautifully warm day in September was a DREAM! Gorgeous flowers and glowy sunlight were everywhere and added so much elegance and romantic softness to the day. A family friend actually helped with all of these beautiful blooms and what a stunning job they did!

A Day of JOY!

Julia and Andrew’s day was so incredible to be part of. I can’t even begin to explain how much both of their smiles just light up the entire room. I couldn’t help but smile all the way through to my heart when I watched these two together. Their expressions all day had me grinning from ear to ear and laughing along with them. They exuded so much JOY! It was contagious! They soaked in every single moment they had together. From their expression filled first look and portrait time to stealing kisses through the reception. Even out on the dance floor together living their absolute best life! One of my favorite parts was when the DJ let Julia get behind the turntables for a moment during the reception! She is the absolute CUTEST!

Favorite Moments

I cherished them and this entire day. Their friends and family were SO sweet and welcoming. I loved and appreciated how they trusted me to lead them through this whole day! We captured some incredible moments! I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite though. I teared up with Julia and her father, Tom, as they shared an emotional father-daughter first look. These are always some of my favorite images. Then Tom had us cracking up and had me wondering if he was actually a stand up comedian when he gave his speech at the reception! Haha! We were all dying and it was a moment I won’t soon forget.

I’m so obsessed with this dreamy wedding day! The colors, the florals, the gorgeous soft, glowy light. The emotions and excitement from Julia and Andrew and all of their friends and family. Their strong love for Jesus. It filled my heart with so much joy just to be part of it all! I wish these two a lifetime of love and laughter and lots of adventures together!
