EPIC! There really aren’t many other words to describe this day! This Oregon coast engagement session was definitely one for the books. Josh and Marissa were insanely adorable together and I had such a blast roaming along this semi-private spot on the beach with them. It was a little foggy and hazy as it is along the coast here most of the time. But that gave it a romantic feel. It was like we were in our own world.

How We Met

There is this amazing camera shop not too far from my home in the next town over that I often visit. Focal Point Photography has always taken such great care of me and my camera needs. Josh used to work there and was always so helpful! He was also a videographer and has been around the wedding scene himself. Since he got engaged they tried to think of someone to photograph their wedding and for some engagement photos along the Oregon coast. I was so honored that they both chose me! They wanted someone they felt comfortable with. I was so excited when they reached out!

They have since moved out to the coast and I had no problem driving out to meet them! I love finding new places to take photos and this was definitely and new spot. And it certainly didn’t lack in beauty. Splashing around in the cold water and climbing over giant rocks with these two was so much fun! I’d say we even had fun as we laughed at having to pick up and throw those giant seaweed onion things off the the side out of the way! Not only was it gorgeous right there on the beach, but at the end they told me about another beautiful lookout spot. Once we finished up on the beach I followed them in my car up this winding hill. Once we got to the top we walked just a very short walk to the lookout spot. My mouth instantly fell open when I saw the view! HOLY COW! The Oregon coast is so gorgeous!
