Oh my goodness!!! There is nothing sweeter than a cake smash session for a sweet baby – but TWINS! I was dying during this session! So much cuteness! These two twin girls cake smash at The Gray Lab was messy, but amazing!

Arie and Eloise are fraternal twins who are turning one and this peachy floral setting was absolutely perfect for these two! Cake smash sessions are a lot of fun but always unpredictable. I find it super fun to see the little one’s reaction to what is usually their first encounter with cake. Sometimes they go all in – hands, face, even feet! Haha! Then other times they want absolutely nothing to do with it, completely uninterested. And then there are the ones that have the cake smash meltdown, which honestly is still adorable. Who doesn’t love a cake face crying photo?? But Arie and Eloise loved their cake! One more so than the other. One kept crawling away while the other kept going in for more. It was the cutest thing!

Their smiles completely melted me and I found myself awwwing just about the entire time. I could have crawled around that studio floor all day with them. I love shooting my couples and weddings but there’s something about chasing little ones and capturing moments of them being themselves that I just love. The twins were amazing and The Gray Lab provided the perfect natural light setting for us!
