Senior Prom Session at Capitol Park

This session at Capitol Park was EVERYTHING!! I think it’s safe to say this year of 2020 brought on some crazy things and changes we didn’t expect. So much of what we knew as normal was taken away. Things we had been planning for and looking forward to were suddenly not happening anymore. Life as we know it halted. As much as this flipped life upside down for so many, my heart broke for the high school seniors.

I felt so terrible for those that had been working their whole high school career and planned for their senior prom to have it cancelled. I decided I wanted to do something to help. Even if it wasn’t much, I wanted to offer a little something. So I ran an ad offering a free mini session to any senior that had already bought their prom attire. I wanted to give them a chance to still get all dressed up and capture this time in their lives.

Chyenne and Gavan responded to this ad and man were they cute!! They showed up looking like a million bucks to the Capitol Park in downtown Salem. What made this the best was that it was that short time of year where all the cherry blossom trees were in full bloom! I’m obsessed with this little park during this time of year! It’s so gorgeous with all the falling pink petals. I had such a blast with these two and so blessed to be able to give them memories they can cherish forever.
