Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Featured Friday : Abbey Road Farm

August 30, 2020

Do you dream of getting married in the middle of wine country with views that will take your breath away – outside AND inside your venue? Ok well you can stop dreaming because I found the perfect place for you!! Abbey Road Farm is a working 82-acre farm, bed and breakfast, and event venue right in the heart of wine country. This gorgeous venue can hold up to 200 guests and offers multiple options for your ceremony, including the Silo Garden, the Parlor Garden, or the Wedding Triangle that overlooks the Trappist Abbey itself! It was almost a little nostalgic for me when I was here with the wide open view and the goats making all their noise in the background. It reminded me of visiting my grandparents farm with their big red barn, quiet wide open views, and the sheep they raised for wool running about their fields.

I was stunned!

When I walked into this incredible venue, I kid you not, I just stood there for a moment and said, “Wow,” over and over again. It is just BEAUTIFUL! And I don’t know about you, but I have a huge thing for those gorgeous wheel light chandeliers! They get me every time. Inside this spacious reception area you’ll find the bridal suite, which is to die for! The shiplap walls were created using the very same boards that came from the original building that used to be a horse barn! It’s the perfect touch of country chic.

Something for the guys!

Don’t think I left out the guys! This venue features a separate space on site for the guys to hang out . They can get ready at the Tool Shed! It’s the PERFECT guy hang out and almost reminds me of a mini McMenamin’s, complete with it’s own bar! Abbey Road Farm comes with tables and white resin chairs. Also included are lawn games such as horse shoes, corn hole, and giant Jenga. They also have on-site lodging as well as the event manager that will be on-site for the entire event! This is one you’ll definitely want to check out!
