Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

A little rain never hurt, even during a session! And being that we live in Oregon we tend to get a bit of rain here so when it threatens our sessions, we often just adapt and go with it! There is this big, wide bridge that crosses over one side of Riverfront Park. It has […]

This amazing young man is my cousin’s son. This senior session at Memorial Park was well into fall and cold but it was so much fun! Danny is an incredible and hard working guy who is now in his final year of high school. What a way to end your high school career, in the […]

I absolutely love when the summer carries in through the whole beginning of fall. This family session at Willamette Mission Park happened during one of my favorite times of the year. Right as the leaves barely want to start changing colors but the sun is still so warm and bright. The Ward family was so […]

You know those clients that just feel like family? That’s Rachel and Madiba. They hold such a special place in my heart! Rachel and Madiba contacted me for an extended family portraits session and requested the gorgeous location of Champoeg State Park!
