This glowy summer engagement session at the Columbia River Gorge was incredible! Not only was it special because this location is stunning, but because of these two special people! Korina and Cody are SO sweet! I’ve known Korina for a few years now and even did a session with them back when they were high school sweethearts. So, of course, I was absolutely thrilled when they told me they were engaged and wanted me to capture their wedding!!

I love the story of high school sweethearts. You can just tell that the love these two have for each other was there from the first moment and will carry them into the rest of their lives. I feel so blessed that they chose me to tell their love story! This Columbia River Gorge location fit them SO well! It’s a client favorite and for good reason. I mean, you seriously can’t beat that view. This day was PERFECT! The weather wasn’t too hot and there were a few soft clouds hanging in the sky. The sun hit that perfect glow and these two followed my posing and instruction so well, lighting up the entire place!

I simply LOVE spending this time with my couples and using this as a great practice opportunity for the big day. Even in situations like this where I already know the bride and groom. It’s SO beneficial to be together in front of my camera and have me help guide you through posed and candid GORGEOUS images! Not only to have this moment in your lives captured so you can always relive it, but to celebrate this season together! I can’t wait for their wedding day next year!!
