I’m not sure if you’ve seen my previous blog post, but this was another amazing prom dress mini session! The cherry blossoms at Salem Capitol Park were in high bloom. Paige looked stunning in her deep red lace gown! In all the craziness of 2020 and all that it took away, my heart went out to our high school seniors. When I learned their prom was cancelled I wanted to do what I could to help. So I ran an ad to offer free mini sessions to anyone that already had their prom attire purchased. I wanted to gift them the memories of this time in their lives even if they couldn’t enjoy the event itself.

Paige was so sweet! Her mom reached out to me when she saw my ad. She couldn’t believe that she could get professional photos of her daughter in her prom dress for free. I had so much fun with Paige during her session! The weather was perfect. The setting couldn’t have been more beautiful. Salem Capitol Park was the BEST location for this! The tears that Paige and her mother had in their eyes by the end of it was the most incredible and rewarding feeling ever!

Its moments like these that I am reminded of why I do what I do. This is also why I LOVE what I do. My business is not just to provide amazing images to my clients. I fully believe it’s a ministry in which lives are touched and changed, often my own. The relationships built and the smiles and joy it brings make everything so worth it!
