Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Our New Puppy: Welcome Home Molly!

December 2, 2022

This is something I’ve been praying for for years and it’s finally happened! I even had her name chosen long before we ever picked her out. Everyone, meet our sweet little puppy, Molly. She a Cavapoo, which means she’s part Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and part poodle. She doesn’t shed, which I LOVE. We get enough of that from our cat, Charlie. She soft and sweet and loves to cuddle. She looks just like a labradoodle but she’s much smaller and a lot more mellow. Molly won’t get bigger than 15 pounds. She’s content to lay by or on me all day. Though the puppy part of her still allows for some spurts of the zoomies through the house on occasion. She also loves sleeping on my head and on my pillow at night.

Bringing Her Home

Anthony was my knight in shining armor when it came to bringing her home. While I was heading out to shoot a wedding, he was boarding a plane to go pick her up for me. He flew all the way to Ohio and bring her back here to Oregon. Unfortunately he was only supposed to be gone during the day and arrive home that evening. A couple of this flights, one on the way there and one on the way back, were cancelled. He didn’t think to take a bag with him since he didn’t expect to stay overnight. So the first leg there he was stranded in Texas and then again in Ohio. Needless to say, this little girl was certainly worth it when he brought her to me a couple days later. We love her so much and feel like she completes our family.

See what Molly looks like now in our latest family photos! (She didn’t get a chance to get a haircut before these pictures haha!) She’s a little shaggy. https://joniloraine.me/2022/12/02/our-2022-family-photos/
