Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Meghan + Adam: A River View Molalla Wedding

July 25, 2021

Meghan and Adam’s wedding day was INCREDIBLE! Sitting on top of a view overlooking the Molalla river, this private venue was the perfect setting for a romantic summer Molalla wedding. I felt like I was in a woodsy fairytale during their portraits! The beautiful tall grass, the trees blowing in the gentle breeze, the sunshine peeking through. It sure was warm, but so gorgeous!

This Molalla Wedding Day

There was so much emotion during this warm summer day. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a time or two myself! Not only was there emotion, but there was also three first looks! Not one, not two, but THREE! Meghan had an excitedly emotional moment with her bridesmaids after her mom helped her into her dress. They all walked in and saw her together and it was so much fun to watch! So many shouts of excitement and awwing over how gorgeous Meghan was! Then Meghan shared a private and precious moment on the porch with her dad. Laughter and tears were shared that I will never forget. Finally, Adam got to see his bride in all her wedding day beauty and he just lost it. It was such a special, tear-filled moment between the two of them.

But the tears didn’t stop with the first looks! Watching his bride walk down the aisle to him and watching her dance with her daddy, Adam was filled with even more emotion. I was taken back by so many beautiful things at this wedding. From the gorgeous white lily-filled bouquets, to the aqua bridesmaids dresses. Then from the stunning backdrop of their romantic portraits, to the pre-ceremony prayer that was shared in the bridal suite. I was so blessed to be able to capture it all at this Molalla wedding. Sitting above the river as the sun went down, I was so incredibly happy for Meghan + Adam to have had such a memorable and beautiful day.
