Part of telling the story of a wedding day, begins with all of those gorgeous bridal details! These help tie in the colors and style of the wedding and flows so beautifully together in my blog post and the wedding album! Photographing these details first thing in the day helps get my creative juices flowing for the rest of the wedding. Laying out an invitation suite with extra floral pieces I’ve requested from the florist sets the stage. Moving to the stunning ring shots, the shoes, the details of the dress and veil, the sparkle of the jewelry. I absolutely LOVE when my brides incorporate special and sentimental items into their details as well! A vintage family handkerchief, vow books, small gifts from grandparents. You can honestly add any detail you’d like that’s special to you!

I always recommend to my brides to begin collecting these items ahead of time. It’s a good idea to collect them in a box or bag and have it ready to grab the morning of the wedding day. This way when I arrive I can come in and greet my bride, grab the box of details and the dress and get right to work! My brides don’t have to run around frantic trying to find all the items while likely in the middle of having her hair and makeup done! These are some of my favorite bridal details of 2021!
