This winter wedding at The Empress Estate was an amazing way to kick off 2023! This gorgeous mansion was the perfect backdrop for Victoria and Brent to tie the knot. Those pops of red and snowflake earrings gave me all the winter vibes! This was my first time photographing a wedding at this beautiful venue and I fell in love!! The Empress Estate is a fairytale tucked away into the woodsy Pacific Northwest inside Washington. The rain did come down later in the day. But not before we grabbed some epic bride and groom portraits in front of this huge, Disneyland princess-feeling mansion. Of course a Disneyland princess-feeling wouldn’t be complete without the princess. And Victoria was just that in her stunning wedding gown!

The Fairytale

Victoria and Brent’s story is just like that of a fairytale. They knew each other when they were growing up but never got together. Then later in life they reconnected and knew they were meant for each other. Victoria never settled and prayed God would bring just the right man for her into her life someday. God answered her prayers and you could feel it in that ceremony. You could feel it in the way they shared their vows and in the way they looked at each other all day long. These two were absolutely incredible to work with. They are so humble and down to earth and truly love the people in their lives.

I felt so blessed to be part of this day. I loved watching their super sweet first look, their epic balcony entrance, and their second first kiss as husband and wife as they were showered with streamers! Victoria and Brent, I wish you a lifetime of love, adventures together, and happiness! I seriously can’t wait to come back and shoot another wedding at The Empress Estate this year!
