Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Holly + Casey: A Summer Wedding at River Bell Farm

August 19, 2024

August is the perfect time for a wedding in Oregon! I loved spending this day with Holly and Casey in not one, but two locations! Their summer wedding was nothing short of magical. We started at their beautiful Catholic church ceremony and ended with the rustic charm of River Bell Farm in Jefferson, Oregon.

The Ceremony

Holly looked like a true princess as she walked down the aisle in her stunning wedding gown. This was a dress that gave me all the fairy tale vibes. The intricate lace, flowing tulle, and delicate beading captured the light as she moved. She was pure radiance!

This day was filled with so many special moments and first looks! Emotions flowed as Holly exchanged a first look with her dad and then out came her sweet little girl to share a first look with him too! Then Casey and Holly shared a super sweet first touch. They didn’t want a first look but wanted a private moment together to read letters they had written to each other. It was SO special! And then Holly’s daughter came out to share a sweet little first look with Casey as well!

A River Bell Farm Reception

After the ceremony, guests made their way to River Bell Farm, which is nestled in the heart of Jefferson. The farm’s rustic elegance provided the perfect backdrop for their reception. The reception area was beautifully decorated with soft, romantic hues, twinkling lights, and floral arrangements that complemented the natural beauty of the venue. One of the most stunning head tables I’ve ever seen! And how cool is that old school car they had for some of their portraits?! Can all couples include a classic car please?? Haha!

The evening was filled with laughter, delicious food, and dancing under the stars. But perhaps the most touching moments of the night came during the special dances. Holly and Casey each shared a dance with their parents—a tradition that is always poignant—but they added a personal twist that made it even more special. As Holly danced with her father, Casey took the floor with their young daughter, creating a moment that was as sweet as it was emotional. When it was time for Casey to dance with his mother, Holly joined in with their new baby son, completing the circle of love that surrounded the family.

These moments were a testament to the deep bonds that Holly and Casey share not just with each other, but with their entire family. It was clear to everyone there that this wedding was about more than just two people coming together—it was about the blending of families.

A Day to Remember

As the night drew to a close, guests left with full hearts and fond memories of a day that was as beautiful as it was meaningful. Holly and Casey’s summer wedding was a true celebration of love, family, and the joy of finding your forever person. Their wedding day at River Bell Farm will be remembered not just for the stunning dress or the stunning setting, but for the heartfelt moments that made it truly unforgettable. I wish these two and their sweet babies nothing but the absolute best!!
