Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Featured Friday: Ainsworth House + Gardens

July 24, 2020

If you love a historic, romantic, and dreamy wedding venue, then look no further than Ainsworth House + Gardens in Oregon City! This gorgeous two story historic home sits nestled on over two acres in the heart of Oregon City. Though once you step foot onto this property it’s as if you’ve stepped into another world. One that is quiet, serene, and surrounded by some of the most beautiful colors and sights of nature! These gardens that surround this area are immaculate and very well kept. Flowers in every color and size you can think of and popping out of every little corner. Beautiful trees that look like they could reach the sky in between pathways that weave through the romantic wooded areas.

Simply Timeless

I absolutely love historic places and truly appreciate all the little touches that make them so unique. Going inside up the stairs leads you around to the door of the balcony that overlooks the front property. The private bridal suite around the back is simply timeless. There is an option for indoor or outdoor weddings as their reception hall can accommodate 125 people and there’s an option to have all tables, chairs, and linens included. The reception hall also includes an outdoor patio, conservatory, garden room, and fireside room.

The Ceremony Options

Could you imagine getting married under that incredible tree you’ll see below. Imagine the late afternoon sun setting just behind the house and behind that tree, casting glowing rays of sunshine through the branches as you say I do with the water fountain trickling in the close distance. How incredibly peaceful and romantic! I could have stayed here all day photographing this place! Every where I turned I found something new, even more beautiful than the last. So many options for portraits, so much color that blooms most of the year! I was in LOVE!

If you’re into romantically historic places, lots of blooming color, and a serene setting that feels tucked away in it’s own little world then Ainsworth House + Garden is the venue for you! Reach out and get in touch with Kevin at:
