We Are a Sports Family!

We certainly are a sports family! I only played basketball for a few years in middle school so I never really thought much about my kids being so into sports. But man these kids really go for it! My oldest, Arika, definitely has a love for softball. She’s about to go into her 6th season and was captain of her JV team last year. To make sure she stays in shape she likes to play other sports in the year. She plays basketball and recently went out for cross country. This coming year she also thinks she might try cheerleading!

My son, Jordan, loves both baseball and football. He’s played soccer when he was a little bit younger but finds that he really loves football the older he gets. His 8th grade team this year won their championship! It was so much fun to watch him put everything he had out there on the field.

Addie, our youngest, and just about our tallest child, has recently found a love of basketball. She’s about to start her 3rd season through the YMCA. I was blessed this season to get the opportunity to coach Addie’s team! It was challenging but so much fun! Winter season coaching is going to be a blast! Give me all the sports!
