Fall Family Minis at Willamette Mission State Park

It’s been a while since I’ve done a full mini session event! I have no idea why because these fall family mini sessions at Willamette Mission State Park were a blast!! I got to meet so many amazing new families, some returning families, and we had so much fun!! Mini sessions are PERFECT for kiddos with shorter attention spans and families that like their photos short and sweet.

This year we hosted the minis at Willamette Mission State Park in October and it was the perfect backdrop! Though it was really warm for mid-October. We ended up with an 80 degree weekend! These families that still showed up in their sweaters are real troopers! Fall family photos like this are perfect to use for Christmas cards. Of course, I also had to bring out a treat table!! Not only was it a special treat for my clients but a great incentive for the kiddos to go a great job during their session. We had apple cider donuts, various cookies, and some gluten free goodies! (Because I also needed a treat, too!)

We packed out two days of mini sessions and it was such a success! Almost all of my families loved their photos so much, they upgraded their galleries! There are usually a set small number of images included with their 15 minute session. You’d be surprised at how many different images we can get in that amount of time! There is the option to purchase more images or the full gallery if they love more than what’s included. Of course, that’s what most of them did! These families dressed to impress, came ready to go, and completely killed it!! I can’t wait for next year!!
