Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Gabrielle + Trevor : A Winter Wedding at Langdon Farms Golf Club

December 16, 2021

This gorgeous winter wedding at Langdon Farms Golf Club gave me all the holiday vibes! Bright pops of red, pinecones and greenery, white poinsettias, and sparkles galore! Sparkles decorated the gorgeous red shade of the bridesmaids dresses as well as Gabrielle’s wedding dress. Even both of the mothers’ dresses were covered in silver sparkles too! This beautiful wedding was all holiday, sparkles, smiles, and tears the whole day and I loved it!

How We Met

Gabrielle and Trevor found me as a recommendation from this gorgeous venue. Gabrielle and I connected so well on our first phone call. I was driving home from an engagement session that was fairly far away from my home so we had plenty of time to chat about their wedding plans. We immediately hit it off and chatted for over 45 minutes! I felt like I knew her for years! She is one of the sweetest and kindest people and we had so much in common. Gabrielle and Trevor were such a fun couple during their engagement session along the Columbia River Gorge. I knew their wedding day would be one to remember.

The Wedding Day

I’m not going to lie when I say we were a little nervous for the weather on this Oregon December day. There was a decent sized storm that happened the day before, blowing tree limbs and debris everywhere. The day of the wedding was supposed to be cold, windy, and very rainy. I had a full on backup plan at Langdon Farms, but to our luck and surprise the rain stopped in the middle of the day! The sun even came out for a little while during their entire portrait time!! It was as if the sun was saving itself just for Gabrielle and Trevor. As soon as we were done with portraits and safely inside the Red Shed for the ceremony and reception, the rain came pouring down again. Which made for an amazing rainy sparkler exit. You can see the rain drops all around them!

One of my favorite moments of this gorgeous day at Langdon Farms was capturing Gabrielle’s grandma lace up her wedding dress. Gabrielle was a real-life princess and her grandma’s face when she saw her said it all. It was so precious to witness. They both really did have amazing family and friends, so much love and support, and a priceless bond with each other. I am so blessed to have captured this day for them and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness, and adventure!
