A little rain never hurt, even during a session! And being that we live in Oregon we tend to get a bit of rain here so when it threatens our sessions, we often just adapt and go with it! There is this big, wide bridge that crosses over one side of Riverfront Park. It has just just enough space underneath for a super cute rainy day family session!
How We Met
The beautiful Kelly in the green top with the new baby reached out to me on Facebook and wanted to schedule a family session with her parents, siblings and their little families. She and I are also from the same small town of Silverton, about 20 minutes from Salem. I was super excited to meet them and for their session.
The Rainy Day Family Session
Getting everyone’s schedules to coordinate on the same day and time can be tricky so when it pours, rescheduling isn’t always an easy option. I was so grateful for their flexibility in moving locations to what felt like the only dry place in Salem. This family was so fun and they were amazing troopers enduring through the chilly wind and rain. Of course we also had to bust out the clear umbrellas I always keep in my trunk for such occasions! The littles where so cute with their contagious smiles and mom and dad were adorable together and with their grandkids. We had a blast playing in the rain! I hope they will cherish these for years to come and remember back on the fun time we all had together.
