Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

Our Adventures in Bend and Seaside

December 2, 2022

We don’t get to take very many family trips together with the five of us. But taking the kids to one of my favorite places in our state was an absolute blast! This trip was broken up into two different parts. One spent in the hot central Oregon climate in Bend. We hiked Smith Rock and spent time at Eagle Crest Resort. We played all the sports there, including basketball and tennis. Lounging by the pool was my favorite. I think my kids’ favorite part was renting the bikes and riding all around the resort.

Then we came back to unload, do laundry, and repack to head a few hours in the opposite direction toward the coast. Which unfortunately was a drastic weather change! We went from 85 degree sunny summer weather to a cold 50 degree windy rainy mess at the coast. I would have preferred to stay in the desert in Bend but I also do love the beach. Our littlest, Addie, had a blast combing the beach for sand dollars in the morning hours before the tide came in. I can’t wait for more family trips! I love my crew!

Before this, the last trip we took was a short getaway to San Francisco my husband, Anthony, and I took right before the pandemic! We were overdue!
