Why you should love your photographer...

On your wedding day you will be spending about 85-90% of your entire day with your photographer by your side. They will be guiding you through every step of the day! You want someone there you trust, who is organized, and who you can have fun with!

When you love your photographer and get along with them really well you can let your guard down around them. You can crack silly jokes and laugh and have fun! In doing so, you end up with not only amazing and genuine photos, but you'll have an even better experience!

When you've taken the time to get to know the person photographing you, they will know and understand your specific needs and wants. They will know the best way to capture you and bring out your best smiles, laughs, and natural emotions. Plus who doesn't love making new friends?!

The Ward Family Session at Willamette Mission Park

February 4, 2021

I absolutely love when the summer carries in through the whole beginning of fall. This family session at Willamette Mission Park happened during one of my favorite times of the year. Right as the leaves barely want to start changing colors but the sun is still so warm and bright. The Ward family was so sweet to work with and their girls were the cutest!

How We Met

Chandy reached out to me after she saw photos I did for her co-worker, Julie. After seeing the Flager family photos/birth announcement she wanted to have a session of her own! I love referrals and I appreciate them so much! I love when clients love working with me so much that they tell everyone they know. That is the greatest compliment I could receive! Chandy was just as awesome to work with as Julie and I loved meeting her sweet family! Julie and Chandy work together at the same dental office so it was neat to have that in common! I worked as a dental assistant for 7 years and loved it.

The Family Session at Willamette Mission Park

This family session at Willamette Mission Park was so much fun! It was a gorgeously bright day at Willamette Mission State Park. I just love how the light hits the leaves of these trees. It makes me feel so alive! The light and this family’s sweet smiles and playfulness completely made this session! The bold colors of their outfits really helped them pop off the green background and fit so well with the early fall time of year. I loved the dark red/maroon of the girls and how they contrasted with the deep blues. I fell in love almost instantly with these photos and this family!
