This flower filled family session at Bush Park gave me so much LIFE! It started out looking like a stormy day and it even drizzled just a tiny bit. As moody and dark as the rolling clouds were, we had some of the BEST colors and blooms Bush Park could offer!

This sweet family was being featured as the cover and main story in the lastest issue of MOM magazine, a local magazine I often shoot for. Their kiddos were so much, energetic, and full of life. This gorgeous and accomplished momma, Megan, and I hit it off immediately. I was so drawn to her positivity and infectious joy. I instantly had a feeling that a new and beautiful friendship had just blossomed.

Speaking of blossoms, I could NOT get over these stunningly gorgeous blooms in the trees at Bush Park. The colors were unreal! I drove right by them on the way to the parking lot. I instantly knew I wanted to shoot there. We started out on the other side of the park. Then made our way to the fantastical and magical flower filled trees. We had SO much fun and of course had to play in all the flower petals! One of my absolute favorite parts were these sweet kiddos listening to my instructions as we went along, calling me “Miss Joni.” The huge hugs I got from them afterwards and the heart melting little song that one of them sang and danced out just for me before hopping into the car to leave. This family is sure something special and I was so blessed to meet them and capture these precious moments!
